Well, on Tues. morning I'll be driving down to Miami to drop of my car to hopefully get fixed, then Wed. morning my friend Ted is picking me up and we're heading to Arlington, Virginia for an anime convention that I'm helping him do.
He's giving me table space to set up my ducks and I'll be going, staying, eating and selling for free!
This is my first time at Anime USA but I've heard from many people that it's a big and GREAT show. It will be their first time seeing my ducks so this should be good. I don't have too much space over there so I couldn't take a whole shit ton, but if it's a great con just with what I have, then Ritz and I are going to try to get in next year.
I'll be back next Mon. or Tues. to Miami and then I'm staying down south with my mom until the Fri. after. Anthony's going to join me down there Tues. or Wed. of that next week and it should be good times all around!

hi just wondering how you ';prepare' your ducks as i am doing a school project in which i am painting rubber ducks and i can't seem to get the paint to stay on without cracking or chipping (acryllic) hope you can help :) thanks

I do about 8 layers of acrylic as that's the only way to do that particular medium (and if scratched, it can chip off) but I also use fabric paint (or puffy paint as it's also called). That gives vibrant colors, stays on really well and is accurate. Only thing is, dust and fluff sticks to it at times..but it's easy to rub the fluff off.
