So, an update on what's been going on with me since last week.
I contacted an attorney who told me the bad news. Since Fl. is a right to work state, they can technically fire you for any reason (aside the major ones, gender, religion, etc) and not have to think twice about it.
BUT I contacted Human Resources, got the director of HR to contact me back, she listened to my story and went to investigate. Over that time, I found out that another credible witness (a 19 year vet at the Hard Rock) also heard me NOT say any such thing about the manager that got me fired, and when HR contacted me back to get the names of my witnesses, I had 3 of them so it was great. She contacted the general manager and told him the details (presumably) and the gm started talking to my witnesses.
Now, this is only a small win, but it's something. It forced him to do something he didn't want to do, and that's a good win in my book. He wasn't even going to think twice about this, now I know that at least he had to go back and review it.

In other news, I'm mainly broke, at least until Fri. when my mom can lend me some cash until I get to Yasumicon in Miami on July 11-12 and make TONS of money lol.
I'm working on cleaning my house, pool, fixing up my room, organizing stuff and making things for the con and otherwise. It's going rather well, I made quite a few ducks, some new earrings and rocks lol.
I've also gotten a chance to play some FFTactics on my Gameboy SP (shh, I know I have an old system, shut up)... mainly this is for about 1 hr at a time while having lunch or playing a round and then giving it to my boyfriend who decided to stay over for like 4 days (and buy me groceries, pool supplies and gas... Love him).
